itinerary < Chico Grandchildren 13 September Caspar > | Chico 12 September 2015 |
Quiet Family DayMia took us for a walk in Chico's beautiful Bidwell park, where the oak trees are a hundred years old. Imagine having the Bidwell vision to protect this park when Chico was scarcely a village! After awhile, everyone caught up ... and then Zoe was done for awhile. We walked a remarkably long way. We had a pleasant afternoon cowering from the heat indoors at Chad's, went out for sushi -- the girls go for miso soup and garlic-parmesan edamame. Home to watch the Ducks barely beaten by the Michigan State's Spartans. And truly home tomorrow, to Caspar. This may be our last transmission on this trip. |
