This fishing boat smiled down at me from a poster in my boyhood room, so it was a thrill to see it close up, in its natural colors, with Vincent's actual brushstrokes visible. |
This one is Rochelle's pick of the bunch. It loses a lot when reduced (as here) to 380 by 315 dots. Each of the foreground flowers is deftly sketched in Vincent's inimitatble way. Sorry, I wasn't able to get close enough to this one to take a detail picture. |
