Collioure House

Our Fisherman's Cottage in Collioure

Roof

Almost 270° of ocean view, the rest the town of Collioure climbing up into the Pyrenees.

Mouse over to see inside. Be patient; each image may take a little while to load up

Third Level: Bedroom

Nice big window with a serious chunk of ocean view out to Collioure's breakwater and the picturesque little chapel. Originally this house was a fisherman's. The floors are about eight feet wide. One gets up and down with ladders through a narrow opening in the floor.

Second Level: sitting room

This was Hermine's bedroom when Nathalie and Arnauld lived her (for twenty years.) We're using it to sit in, read, and as a big closet. There's a sink here, too, for tooth washing.

This little house is so picturesque, people are constantly stopping and taking pictures of it.

Ground Floor: kitchen and bathroom

All the serious plumbing is here. There's a fridge, stove, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, steamer, a little table. There's also a table and chairs that go on the little deck outside.

Rue de Bellvue

To the left, about two blocks down some steps to Rue du Boromar and the beach. A little further to the center of town. We have parked our car up to the right. (No mouse over action here.)
