It's raining right now, but we managed a lovely three mile walk to Old Town and back, having bought tomorrow's breakfast. We are now waiting the rain out so's we can go to Backporch Coffee...

After shaking ourselves free from the Portland traffic craziness, we drove through Estacāda, then upstream along the Clackamas River, through mostly recently burned second growth forest...

This morning it's comfortably warm, still, and quiet. American (formerly Canada) Geese and ducks float by, carpenter wasps bumble into the house and need help to escape, bee-flies rummage the grasses on the river verge...
